Absolutely. They are designed for wet and dry food waste, including peelings,
leftovers, tea bags, eggshells, bones, sharp vegetable stalks and the occasional 'what even is that?' hiding at the back of the fridge.
The material has a tensile strength of 25 MPa and real-world testing has shown that a caddy liner can hold up to 10kg. At 21 microns thick, Kompost caddy liners are approximately 20% thicker than the market average, helping to resist leaks, punctures and tearing.
Our liners have been tested in real kitchens for more than 12 months. For best
performance, change kitchen caddy liners within four days. Kerbside liners can be used for up to seven days.

Kompost caddy liners are designed to fit most standard food-waste caddies supplied by UK councils.
Our 6-litre and 10-litre liners fit small and medium kitchen caddies. Choose a liner slightly larger than your caddy so there is enough material to fold over the rim and tie securely when full. For example, choose a 10-litre liner for a 6- or 7-litre caddy if you would like extra room for tying.
Our 30-litre liners are designed to fit standard 25-litre kerbside food-waste caddies. These larger caddies are supplied by most UK councils to collect the smaller bags from your kitchen.
